This beautiful item is a vintage hand painted polychrome tile depicting a Dutch sailing ship.  It was hand painted by Makkum Tichelaar, a well known producer in the Netherlands.
Koninklijke Tichelaar Makkum (Royal Tichelaar Makkum, est. 1572) is the oldest company in the Netherlands and has worldwide recognition in ceramics.
A timeless piece and certain eye catcher for any home.
The tile has some of the glaze missing in the corners but further no severe damages. See our photos.
